Project Description

This Georgian brick home had been in the client’s family for generations however the size and layout did not meet the needs of their contemporary lifestyle.  Rather than tearing down and building new, the original front and side facades were maintained.  A new roof with dormers, new larger front windows, and a new front portico were designed with an addition at the rear providing the much needed additional space.  The interior modern detailing throughout the existing and new areas of the home is warm through the use of stained wood and bronze accents while the three-storey glass stairwell and rear sliding doors bring light into the home and connects one to the outdoors.
